Using Herman
Via shortcuts
Shortcuts in slack can be run on the mobile or desktop version of slack from a few different places.
- Firstly, by typing the shortcut name in the main app search bar and tapping on it when it pops up. The shortcut should have the profile picture for Herman next to it and may say shortcut below mobile or have a lightning bolt icon on desktop.
- Shortcuts can also be triggered from within any slack direct message or thread by typing a forward slash
/in the message box followed by the name of the shortcut you wish to run for example/check out item. As you are typing possible shortcuts will pop up and you can tap on the desired one to run it immediately
